Action:

Basil alcohol may have antioxidant and antibacterial properties (Clostridium perfringens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, as well as against other Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains), mainly attributed to carvacrol and thymol.
